  • Small Bomberman update

Sorry for being MIA, Been through some very harsh LA Heat trying to stay cool and get some progress done but here are some stuff I've done. Added a Timer to the Bombs with a destroy action, Though this will be improved with visuals just to indicate to the player that the bombs used are active. Example of the timed bombs Example visuals of the timed bombs indicating they're active.

  • Sprite rework to bomb and player!

Decided to improve the sprites of the bomb and the player after some feedback and wanting to improve the simple plain flat colors of the sprites. Bomb sprite is brighter and with some shading details, just to make it more visible on the tiles, rather than it blending in with the muted colors of the floor tiles. As seen here, the sprite is more visible along with a better player sprite! The player sprite looks more fresh and improved than the last sprite that looked simple and plain. The previous sprite before is simple, flat but would later be improved! The previous sprite for the bomb before which was too dark and blending in with the tile set, and from helpful feedback, I decided to make it more brighter and saturated for the player's eyes to see! Movement of the new sprite and the bomb sprite in a test run!

Making a new game inspired by Bomberman, though everything is still fresh and under construction. here are some of the progress shots of everything I've done while being away for a while! Wall sprite, (Might work on this too in the future.) Placed Tiles of the walls! Now some ground tiles and a bit a of foliage! Some player movement codes! Player movements in the tile set!

  • Lunar Lander is now playable!

I've now uploaded my Lunar Lander game to my Itch.io page and it is now playable, though it still might have some flaws here and there and I am always eager to go back to it and make improvements!

  • Progress to Lunar Lander Game

Added some sub events for the lander when it lands on the designated platforms on, However I noticed a mistake when making these sub events (The destroy code), this code made no sense to have since when the lander meets the requirements for a successful landing, it would destroy itself and also clip through the platform Deleted the destroy code since it wouldn't make sense of the lander destroying itself when it successfully lands. After deleting the stray unwanted code, I made the platforms enabled so that they can be landed on, since I noticed the lander clipping through them. Progress of the Lander successfully landing on the landing pad!

  • Recent art of new characters

A pair of agents who's been fused with Pigeon and Dodo DNA, nothing much of them, just two chill weirdos who can't fly. Right: Percy "Archer" Paloma, FBI Agent, willing volunteer to the Mutation Juice experiments (Though his dose was accidentally mixed with Pigeon DNA) Left: Dustin Dovewood, FBI Agent, also a willing volunteer in the same experiments and just like Archer, his dosage had Dodo DNA mixed in resulting in his mutation as well.

  • Fixing with audio issues

Finally figured out an issue with the thruster audio overlapping and playing multiple times when holding down the up arrow key. Turns out it was in the wrong event and has been moved to a separate event that stopped the overlapping issue! Fixes to the issues and separated events. Sound fix! Lander is no longer haunted by a loud overlapping of torturous thruster sounds! and the audio stop when the up arrow key is let go!

  • New Works and updates for another game!

Working on Lunar Lander and here are my current sneak peaks and looks at the game that's still under construction. Little snippet of the ship controls and zoom in when nearing a surface and then landing. Some screenshots of the stuff behind the scenes, such as collision field, rotation controls and thruster button for the gravity, sound will be added later on once I can figure out the issue with the thruster sound overlapping and playing loudly.
